Donations* support our shared mission of opening a community-owned grocery store in Kennett Square, PA. Your money will go towards professional fees, supplies, inventory, employee payroll and benefits, building renovations and furnishings, etc. related to project development.

  • Support local farmers and producers by providing a permanent, year-round marketplace for their goods.

Tax-deductible Donation

By giving to Friends of Kennett Food Co-op (EIN: 39-3397193), 100% of your tax-deductible donation to this 501(c)(3) charitable organization will be solely distributed to support specific needs for the build-out and operation of KCG. Learn more about our nonprofit partner here.

  • Use the “Build the Store Together” form below to send a general donation by selecting the 'I'd just like to donate' button on the bottom-left. Your gift will directly fund the renovations, fixtures, and staff that will make this store possible.

    Once logged in, choose the option to “Recommend a Grant.”

    2. Search for our organization
    Use the information below to find us in your DAF database:

    You may choose a one-time or recurring grant.

    4. Select a grant purpose (optional)
    You can designate your gift for:

    • Where Most Needed (recommended)

    • A specific program or initiative

    • Any instructions you’d like to provide in the grant notes

    5. Submit your grant recommendation
    Your DAF provider will process the request and send the grant directly to us, either by check or electronic transfer, depending on their procedures.

    6. Notify us
