Sell to the Local Community!
Help us grow from the ground up. We are currently building our inaugural producer network to stock the shelves of our community-owned grocery store opening this year.
Sell with KCG
KCG proudly partners with local producers who share our commitment to quality, transparency, and strengthening our regional food system. We’re building a thoughtful, structured retail model designed to support small businesses and serve our community with integrity.
We prioritize producers within a 150-mile radius of Kennett Square, PA, with preference given to Chester County and surrounding communities.
If you’re interested in working with us, we’d love to hear from you. Please review the information below and submit an application when you’re ready.
Our Consignment Model
KCG operates on a 70/30 consignment split:
Producers retain 70% of the retail price of items sold
KCG retains 30% to cover staffing, facilities, marketing, and operational costs
Producers retain ownership of product until it sells
Payments are based on recorded sales

Standards and Expectations
Animal Welfare
We prioritize pasture-raised, grass-fed, and outdoor-based animal systems. Transparency in production practices is essential.
Ingredient Sourcing
Local ingredients are encouraged whenever possible. For products that rely on non-local ingredients (such as coffee), responsible sourcing and transparency are required.
Packaging & Labeling
Products must be properly packaged, sealed, and legally labeled
Items must be clearly identifiable for point-of-sale tracking
Producers may provide UPC/barcodes
If needed, KCG will assign internal product codes
Scannable codes are encouraged to support efficient checkout and accurate inventory tracking
Production & Reliability
Producers must demonstrate consistent availability appropriate to their category. Delivery frequency varies by product type. Clear communication regarding availability, seasonal changes, or supply disruptions is required.
Pricing
We welcome premium-quality products while maintaining a balanced product mix to ensure our store remains accessible to our community.

Once products are checked in, KCG assumes responsibility for their care while they are in the store. While we take steps to minimize theft and damage, some level of loss is unavoidable in retail. In the event of theft or damage, KCG and the producer share the loss according to our standard 70/30 consignment split.
