The Board of Directors of Kennett Community Grocer held its first post-election meeting on June 22, 2026.
At this meeting, we welcomed newly elected board member Addie Cummings.
Welcome, Addie Cummings!
Addie has called Kennett Square home for the past nine years and has been a supporter of KCG since first learning about the project at the Kennett Farmers Market. As the Food & Garden Manager at Fairville Friends School, she shares her passion for seasonal, vegetarian cooking with students while helping connect the next generation to fresh, locally grown food.
In addition to her work in food education, Addie brings experience in nonprofit development, grant writing, board service, restaurant and kitchen operations, and volunteer management. We are excited to have her join the Board and look forward to the knowledge and enthusiasm she brings to KCG.
We also elected our Executive Committee for the coming year:
Greg Gurev was elected Board President and brings a wealth of board experience along with a strong commitment to sound fiscal oversight as KCG moves closer to opening.

Stu Mundth will continue serving as Vice President after helping lead and present KCG's recent Annual Meeting.

Catie Buttery will continue as Board Secretary, with Claudia Schultz serving in the role during Catie's upcoming maternity leave.

Mitch Warren will continue as Treasurer and is leading efforts to finalize financing for the store's construction and opening.
With the Executive Committee in place and financing efforts continuing, the Board remains focused on moving the project toward construction and opening.
