BREAKING NEWS: Kennett Community Grocer has a HOME! 🎉 Dear Member-Owners, Farmers/Producers, and Friends, We are overjoyed to share the news you’ve all been waiting for: Kennett Community Grocer has signed a lease on a storefront!  After 8 years of hard work, dreaming, and perseverance, we now have a home for our community-owned grocery store.🎉 📍 Location: Our future store will be located in a 3,000-square-foot space in Minnie’s Square shopping center at 625 E Cypress Street in Kennett Square, PA. This milestone marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter.  With your support, KCG is on track to become the vibrant, local grocery store our community has long envisioned—uplifting local farmers and producers, providing food choices you can trust, and strengthening the economy of Chester County, PA and beyond. What's next? 💰 We are actively working to secure the necessary funding through grants and donations, which will allow construction to begin early next year.  Our target opening date is May 2026—and we can’t wait to welcome you through our doors. To help get them open, please consider a tax-deductible donation to sponsor and "name" a piece of equipment needed for the store.
